Early years ( ?-? ) Childhood ( ?-? ) Bri'ban began training with his father, Ben'gath Dawill, at an early age for the family business, bounty hunting. The Dawill family was known as one of the most loyal and trustworthy bounty hunters for four generations, back to Car'nor Dawill. They were known throughout the galaxy as persistent and ruthless when pursuing their prey. Bri'ban's mother, Alora, never fully approved of her husband's insistence that her son would follow the same path. She feared for her family's well-being. After all, four generations of bounties had relatives and friends who very much wanted revenge. Adulthood ( ?-? ) The Dawills were visiting Ben'gath's father when the Conquest of Muunilinst began. Bri'ban's family were in the middle of attempted escape from the city of Harnaidan when the Republic SPHA-T artillery began bombardment. Massive chunks of buildings crumbled to the ground as Ben'gath pushed his son to safety. He and Alora were crushed beneath the debris. Bri'ban vowed vengeance upon the Republic and swore he would bring down the one's responsible for his parent's death. He sought out Count Dooku and his Separatist forces and offered his services as a skilled hunter and mercenary to hunt down and kill those responsible. Dooku tricked Bri'ban into a mission to assassinate Obi-Wan Kenobi, who Dooku had told Bri'ban was leading the forces at Harnaidan. Bri'ban engaged Kenobi on Ord Cestus and was defeated by the Jedi Master. Put in Kit Fisto's care after his defeat at Kenobi's hand, Bri'ban was trained to channel his anger and aggression and learned that Kenobi was not directly responsible for his parent's tragic death. Fisto, recognizing Bri'ban's natural "talents", contacted Jabba the Hutt and convinced Jabba to employ Bri'ban, whom he assigned to a guard's position aboard his yacht, The Star Jewel.
